Role Overview:
We are looking for highly competent and energetic Policy Administrators to manage the entire lifecycle of our life insurance policies. This includes processing new policies, handling claims, making amendments, managing renewals and retentions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, client-focused, and committed to ensuring compliance and accuracy in all aspects of policy administration.
Key responsibilities include providing client support via phone, email and WhatsApp, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulations and liaising with clients and our Underwriters.

Insurance Policy Administrator
Key Responsibilities
- Policy lifecycle management: Process new business, amendments, cancellations, NTU, lapses and reinstatements. Ensure all policies are current and align with client needs.
- Client support: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, handling queries through phone and email. And resolving their issues promptly
- Claims administration: Assist clients with claim submissions and documentation, manage claims processing, and communicate with Underwriters regarding claim status and rejections.
- Record keeping: Maintain and update client databases, policy documents, and other records accurately.
- Compliance and reporting: Ensure all activities comply with relevant life insurance legislation, policies terms and conditions and company policies. Prepare regular reports on policy status and claims.
- Communication: Liaise with clients, brokers, Underwriters and internal departments to manage policy administration and client relationships.
- Retention and renewals: Communicate policy renewals and manage retention efforts by following up with clients who have not paid their monthly premiums.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 Qualification with (Mathematics and or Accounting Subjects Passed)
- Proficient in Adobe, Word, Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of FAIS, FICA, and POPIA compliance.
- Basic knowledge of the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
- Higher Certificate in Financial Products or Long-Term Insurance Advisor (NQF Level 5)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Life Insurance products administration. or life insurance.
- Regulatory Examination (RE5).
- Bachelor of Administration or Bachelor of Business Administration
