Sena was established in 2016 to support the ideas of Social Justice and financial Inclusion. We are focused on Financial Advisory, Intermediary Services and Compensation for Occupational Injuries & Diseases Act (COID), We offer indepth of expertise for injury on duty claims and offer comprehensive and holistic insurance solutions that will address your financial needs. Group Funeral Cover

We offer different funeral cover options to cater for your individual family circumstances. Our cover amount starts from R10 000 up to R100 000 in line with insurance regulation.

Corporate Funeral Cover

Sena Financial Services makes it possible for Employers to provide risk cover to their Employees. The Employers can join as individual companies, associations or bargaining councils. The policy provides a lump-sum payment to cover costs related to a funeral. For all valid claims the payment will be made within 48 hours after receiving all claim documents.

Group Life Assurance

This policy is designed to offer lump-sum policy benefits to employees in the event of death or disability. If an employee’s group cover amount exceeds the free cover limit, they will be required to go for medical underwriting, as per the policy terms and conditions.

Group Personal Accident

Comprehensive 24-hour policy that covers the member for accidents which result in death, permanent disablement, temporary total disablement or temporary partial disablement, and medical expense.

Commuting Journey Policy

The Commuting Journey Policy (CJP) enhances employee protection by providing cover in the event of Death or Disablement of an employee arising out of the occurrence of an accident that occurs while the employee is journeying between home & work or journeying between work & home any other work authorised destination including attending a funeral or memorial service of a colleague.

COIDA International Cover

The COID International Cover Policy is designed to give your employees cover for death or disability arising out of an accident which occurs in the course and scope of their employment while assigned to work outside the Republic of South Africa for more than 12 months. 

Riot and strike

Riot and strike is a policy that provides employees with cover for injuries or death, arising from riots, strike, faction fight or similar disturbances.
when there are riots and industrial strikes, companies and employees are adversely affected, and productivity slows down in some cases completely stops.

We offer full COIDA services for employers and employees, covering compliance, claims, and emergency medical assistance. Trust us to manage COIDA responsibilities and ensure everyone’s well-being.

COIDA Awareness and Training

Empower yourself and your team with comprehensive insights into COIDA, covering statutory cover, benefits, roles, responsibilities, and claiming procedures. Available online or in-person, our courses ensure compliance and maximize benefits.

Rehabilitation and Reskilling

We offer holistic rehabilitation and reskilling for those impacted by Injury on Duty and occupational diseases. Our program oversees rehabilitation, progress monitoring, medical reports, and communication with stakeholders, aiming for a successful return to work and enhanced well-being.

Fully integrated Intellicomp System

Our Intellicomp system streamlines online processes, from employer registration to claim filing with e-signatures. It offers monitoring capabilities, financial transactions, and report generation, simplifying COIDA procedures.

Repatriation Of Mortal Remains

This service assists the bereaved family and next-of-kin with the road or air repatriation of the mortal remains of beneficiaries to a funeral home closest to their normal place of residence. Repatriation is arranged when the deceased’s body is more than 100km from their place of residence, within South Africa and neighbouring countries.

RAF Claims Assistance

With RAF Claims Assistance, we assist you with the process of claiming from the Road Accident Fund (RAF) if you were injured, you are survived by a legal dependant, or you are the deceased member’s close relative responsible for funeral expenses.
