COIDA Awareness and Training
Our COIDA Awareness & Training has the simple goal of empowering employees, employers, and service providers in every aspect of the Act. Most employees are not receiving the benefits they’re entitled to, simply because there is a lack of understanding of what their rights are. Sena is committed to being the leaders in educating all citizens about legislated cover through COIDA compliance and COIDA awareness courses. We offer various training interventions to upskill the employer and employee around the COID act. Our training ranges from awareness to in depth understanding of the implications, roles and responsibilities as stipulated under the COID Act.
We provide the public at large and Employers with a COIDA Compliance course that is accredited and worth 4 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points and a COIDA Awareness course that is accredited and wroth 2 CPD points. You can enrol in the course online or in person, and upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of competency.

COIDA Awareness Course 2CPD
At the end of the Awareness Course, you will be able to:
Understand the statutory cover provided, ie., injury benefits, death benefits and occupational disease benefits, and in doing so, comply with the legislation
Learners will gain sufficient and appropriate knowledge and understanding of:

- What events are covered by COIDA?
- The role players.

At the end of the Awareness Course, you will be able to:

- Describe injury benefits provided.
- Describe the death benefits provided.
- Describe occupational disease benefits.
- Comply with the legislation.
Learners will gain sufficient and appropriate knowledge and understanding of:
- What is COIDA?

- Classes of benefits under COIDA Compensation benefits.
- The rights and responsibilities of an employer.
- The responsibility of the employee.
